Wascana Driving School Inc. is a team of competent and friendly professional driving instructors with extensive experience in ministry-approved driver training, both in-class and in-car. The school has been serving Regina and surrounding communities since 2008 — over 16 years of driver education in Saskatchewan.

The SGI 6×6 Package — $570

The Wascana 6×6 Package covers the full mandatory SGI driver education requirement: 6 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of in-car training, for $570. No upfront payment is required for the in-class session — you can pay when you start driving. Upon successful completion, students receive an official SGI Certificate, which is required on road test day. The in-class portion is delivered online via Zoom almost every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Online In-Class Sessions via Zoom

Wascana Driving School delivers the 6-hour in-class component of the SGI course online through Zoom, almost every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This allows students across Regina and even throughout Saskatchewan to complete the classroom requirement from home. After completing the in-class session, an instructor will contact you by phone or text to schedule the in-car driving sessions at mutually agreed times.

Brush-Up Lessons — $80 per Hour

Brush-up lessons are available for drivers who need targeted practice before their Class 5 road test. Sessions are $80 per hour, paid upfront by e-transfer to wascana.ds@gmail.com (include your name and phone number in the memo). Lessons are tailored to each student’s specific areas for improvement — whether parallel parking, intersections, highway driving, or a full mock road test run.

Free Pickup and Drop-Off in Regina

All in-car training sessions include free pickup and drop-off within city limits. Students are collected from their home or another convenient location and returned at the end of the session. The maximum in-car time per day is two hours; the minimum is one hour.

Instruction in Seven Languages

Wascana Driving School offers instruction in English, French, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, and Pashto — making quality driver education accessible to a wide range of Regina residents and newcomers to Saskatchewan.

Female Instructors Available

Wascana Driving School has female instructors available for one-on-one in-car driving lessons. Students who prefer a female instructor are encouraged to mention this when registering.

Digitized Classroom Materials

Wascana’s in-class courses use digitized course materials including animations, videos, and pictures to help new drivers learn the material quickly and easily. The classroom content covers traffic rules, road signs, defensive driving, and handling Saskatchewan’s unpredictable weather — including winter driving on icy and snowy roads.

Car Rental for Road Test

Wascana Driving School offers car rental for students taking their SGI Class 5 road test. The package ($150) includes the vehicle and a 50-minute brush-up lesson. All vehicles are dual-brake equipped and automatic only. Car rental for the road test must be arranged directly with your in-car training instructor.

Wascana Driving School serves Regina and a wide area of Saskatchewan including Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Prince Albert (PA), White City, Emerald Park, and Pilot Butte. The in-class Zoom sessions are available to students anywhere in Saskatchewan.
