Why 1,400+ Students Chose Veerji
Numbers don’t lie. With over 1,466 five-star reviews on Google, Veerji Driving School has arguably established itself as the most trusted name in Calgary driver education. Located in the community of Evanston (NW Calgary), we serve students from all over the city who want the “Veerji Difference”—instruction that feels like family.
We are more than just a driving school; we are a mentorship program. Our team understands that for many new Canadians and teenagers, getting a license is a gateway to freedom and employment. We take that responsibility seriously. Whether it’s your first time behind the wheel or your fifth time trying to pass the test, we have the patience to get you there.
The “Veerji Method”
- Psychological Support: We don’t just teach mechanics; we teach mindset. Fear is the #1 reason students fail. Instructors like Kulwinder and Sanjay are experts at calming nerves, turning anxious gripping of the wheel into relaxed, confident control.
- Simplified Parking: Parallel parking is the nightmare of every student. We have developed a “3-Point Reference System” that makes parking mathematically perfect every time. No guessing, just results.
- Modern Learning: We use the latest model vehicles (Toyota Corollas & Honda Civics) equipped with sensitive dual-brakes, ensuring you learn on the same type of car you will likely drive in the future.
Serving NW Communities
While we welcome students from everywhere, we are the local experts for Evanston, sage Hill, Nolan Hill, and Creekside. We know the exact idiosyncrasies of the Sage Hill driving routes—where the playground zones are hidden and where the speed limit drops unexpectedly.

Common Questions
🏆 Why do you have so many reviews?
We believe in karma and good service. We treat every student with respect, never yelling or getting frustrated. Because of this, our students naturally want to share their positive experiences. We don’t buy reviews; we earn them, one lesson at a time.
📉 Do you offer the Insurance Certificate?
Yes. Our “Insurance Course” (10 hours driving + 15 hours online) is fully Government of Alberta approved. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate that can lower your insurance premiums significantly.
📍 Where is your school located?
Our main office is in Evanston (NW Calgary) at 8 Evansfield Cres NW. However, for in-car lessons, we offer free pickup and drop-off in most nearby NW communities. We meet where it’s convenient for you.
