The SGI 6×6 Course — Saskatchewan’s Mandatory Driver Education

Saskatchewan requires new drivers aged 16 or older to complete the mandatory SGI 6×6 course before taking their Class 5 road test. The course consists of 6 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of in-car training. Upon successful completion, students receive an official SGI Certificate, which must be presented to the examiner on test day. Magic Man Driver Training delivers both components with SGI-approved instructors.

Brush-Up Lessons and Pre-Road Test Evaluation

For drivers who already hold their SGI learner’s licence and want focused preparation before their Class 5 road test, Magic Man offers brush-up lessons and pre-road test evaluations. These sessions are tailored to each student’s needs — whether that means working on parallel parking, lane changes, highway driving, or running through the complete road test route to identify any remaining gaps.

Free Pickup and Drop-Off in Regina

All Magic Man Driver Training lessons include free pickup and drop-off. Students are collected from their home, workplace, or another convenient location in Regina, and returned at the end of the lesson — at no additional cost.
