A Community Staple in Surrey
Komal Driving School isn’t just a business; it’s a part of the vibrant fabric of Surrey. For over a decade, we have helped new immigrants, high school students, and seniors regain their independence on the road. Based in the heart of East Newton on 140th Street, we understand the pulse of this city better than anyone.
Driving in Surrey can be intimidating. You have the rush hour chaos of 72nd Avenue, the confused four-way stops in residential neighborhoods, and the high-speed pressure of the Perimeter Road. Our instructors don’t just teach you how to pass a test; they teach you how to survive and thrive in this specific traffic environment.
Language is No Barrier
We adhere to a simple philosophy: you learn best in the language you think in. That’s why we are proud to offer full instruction in English, Punjabi, and Hindi. Misunderstanding a specific rule like “unprotected left turns” can be dangerous. We ensure you understand the nuance of every regulation, not just the translation.
The “East Newton” Advantage
Many road tests start near the Newton ICBC center. Because our office is practically neighbors with the test routes, every lesson you take with us is essentially a mock road test. We know exactly which school zones on 144th Street catch students off guard and where the “hidden” crosswalks are near Frank Hurt Secondary.
