Professional Instruction, Inclusive Spirit
Learning to drive is more than just passing a test; it’s about gaining independence and safety. At Inclusive Driving School, we specialize in helping nervous and first-time drivers overcome their anxieties. Led by our expert instructor, Stephen, we offer a learning environment that is calm, supportive, and designed for success.
Based at 24 Adelaide Avenue in Halifax, we serve the entire HRM including Halifax, Dartmouth, and Bedford. We are proud to be a Nova Scotia Approved training center, follow the comprehensive “Today’s Drivers Manual” curriculum, and maintain a near-perfect Google rating of 4.9 stars.
Why We Are Different
The “Inclusive” in our name stands for our approach to every student. Whether you are a teenager getting your first license, a newcomer to Canada navigating our urban one-way streets, or a senior looking to refresh your skills, we tailor our instruction to you. Our instructor, Stephen, is frequently cited for his patience and ability to explain complex maneuvers—like navigating the Armdale Rotary or parallel parking on Quinpool Road—with ease and humor.
Affordable Without Compromise
With the average cost of driving education in Halifax reaching $700 or more, we believe safety training should be accessible. Our special rate of $525 for the complete course is one of the best values in the province. We offer flexible payment plans (two installments) to help families manage the cost of driver training.
Government Approved & Certified
Graduating from our program doesn’t just make you a better driver—it has tangible benefits for your license and wallet. Our students are eligible to take their road test 3 months earlier (9 months instead of 1 year) and can qualify for substantial **insurance discounts** upon completion. We handle all the certification details, issuing your Access Nova Scotia approved certificate immediately upon graduation.
