SGI-Certified Driver Training in Regina, Saskatchewan

Green Light Driving Regina Inc. is an SGI-certified driving school located at 1077 Pasqua Street in Regina, Saskatchewan. The school offers the mandatory SGI 6×6 driver education course, brush-up lessons for road test preparation, and car rental for road test day — with patient, clear instruction available in five languages, seven days a week.

The SGI 6×6 Course — Saskatchewan’s Mandatory Driver Education

In Saskatchewan, new drivers aged 16 or older must complete the mandatory SGI 6×6 course before taking their Class 5 road test. The course consists of 6 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of in-car training. Upon successful completion, students receive an official SGI Certificate, which must be presented to the examiner on test day. Green Light Driving School offers the in-class component online via Zoom, allowing students to complete the classroom requirement from home.

Brush-Up Lessons for Road Test Preparation

Green Light Driving School offers brush-up lessons for drivers who need targeted practice before their Class 5 road test. These sessions can be booked for as many hours as needed until the student feels comfortable and confident. Lessons are tailored to each individual — covering intersections, lane changes, parallel parking, highway driving, and full road test route practice.

Online In-Class Sessions via Zoom

The 6-hour in-class portion of the SGI 6×6 course can be completed online through Zoom, making it convenient for students to finish the classroom component from home without needing to travel to a physical classroom location.

Instruction Vehicle — Honda HRV

Green Light Driving School uses a Honda HRV for in-car training sessions. The same vehicle is available for road test day car rental, meaning students take their road test in a vehicle they are already fully familiar with — removing one potential source of stress on test day.

Multilingual Instruction — Five Languages

Green Light Driving School offers driving instruction in English, Hindi, Arabic, Urdu, and Pashto. This makes quality driver education accessible to a wide range of Regina residents and newcomers to Saskatchewan who prefer to learn in their first language.

Patient and Clear Instruction

Green Light Driving School is known for patient, clear instruction that builds genuine confidence behind the wheel. Student reviews consistently highlight the calm teaching style and thorough approach of the school’s instructors, with many students reporting they passed their Class 5 road test on the first attempt.
