GetSetGO Driving School Steinbach — 5-Hour MPI Training $300 & Road Test Car $50
1 Westview Pl, Steinbach, MB · MPI-listed Class 5 school · Open 7 AM–7 PM daily · Seniors, teens and adults
GetSetGO Driving School is a Steinbach school with a street address, seven-day hours and a short price list on its website. It appears on MPI’s official list of permitted Class 5 driving schools for Steinbach, and it is one of the few Steinbach schools that publishes a price for its 5-hour MPI certificate training course, the training MPI requires after three failed road tests.
It also sells a road test package and a stand-alone road test car rental, and it lists courses for teens, adults, seniors and defensive driving, which is a wider range than most small Manitoba schools.
Published Pricing
The math: the 5-hour certificate course is $300, which is $60 an hour, the same as the single first lesson. The refresher-plus-road-test package at $120 works out to a $60 lesson plus $60 for the test, and the school says it includes pickup and drop-off, while the stand-alone rental at $50 does not.
⚠️ "First lesson only" is unclear. The website lists the $60 hourly lesson as applying to the first lesson only, and doesn’t say what later lessons cost. Ask for the price of lesson two and beyond before you book. We also couldn’t open the school’s separate pricing page, so we relied on the homepage.
The retraining rule in plain terms. Since November 2024, MPI requires 5 hours of instruction from an MPI-permitted school after three failed road tests before you can book a fourth. GetSetGO’s 5-hour MPI certificate training matches that number. Confirm that it comes with the MPI verification form before you pay.

What We Could and Couldn’t Verify
- Confirmed: the school is on MPI’s Steinbach list, and the phone number, 204-698-5323, matches the website. A Steinbach business directory lists the same address, 1 Westview Place.
- Not published: instructor or owner names, years in business, languages and vehicle details.
- Reviews: we found no rating or count we could rely on, and the website shows no testimonials, so we quote none.
- Pricing page: the separate pricing and about pages didn’t load, so this profile relies on the homepage.

Common Questions
Is GetSetGO on MPI’s permitted list?
Yes. It appears as GetSetGo Driving School on MPI’s official Find A Driving School list for Steinbach, and the phone number matches the website. You can also ask to see the instructor’s valid permit.
Can I rent a car for the road test without lessons?
Yes, according to the website: a road test car rental is $50, and pickup and drop-off are not included in that price.
What are the hours?
The website lists 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily.
Where is the school?
1 Westview Place, Steinbach, MB R5G 2C2, according to the website and a local business directory.
Will I practise my exact road test route?
No school in Manitoba should promise that. MPI’s rules say instructors can’t teach the routes used in actual road tests, so expect practice on the skills and road types you’ll meet instead.
