Faizan’s Defensive Driving School | SGI Certified | Regina & Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan

SGI-Certified Defensive Driver Training in Regina, Saskatchewan

Faizan’s Defensive Driving School is an SGI-certified Class 5 driving school serving Regina and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The school specializes in mindful defensive driving — building habits and awareness that make students safe, confident drivers for life, not just drivers who can pass a road test. Courses are available seven days a week from 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM.

SGI 6×6 Driver Training — from $550

The mandatory SGI 6×6 course consists of 6 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of in-car training. Upon successful completion, an official SGI Certificate of Driver Education is issued — required for the Class 5 road test. The in-class component is delivered online via Zoom on weekends. A key advantage at Faizan’s: students may begin their in-car lessons before completing the 6-hour in-class component, allowing more flexibility in scheduling.

Free Pickup and Drop-Off in Regina and Moose Jaw

All lesson packages include free pickup and drop-off anywhere in Regina and Moose Jaw. Students are collected from home, office, or any location in the city and returned at no extra cost — for both the 6×6 course and brush-up lessons.

Brush-Up Lessons and Road Test Preparation — from $80/hr

Faizan’s Defensive Driving School offers brush-up lessons starting from $80 per hour for drivers who need targeted practice before their Class 5 road test. Instructors evaluate your driving, identify areas for improvement, and provide structured feedback. Lessons cover city driving, one-way streets, highway driving, gravel roads, parallel parking, angle parking, nose-in parking, and full mock road test routes.

Car Rental for Road Test

Two car rental options are available for road test day. The Road Test Package ($150) includes the vehicle plus a 50-minute brush-up lesson, free pickup before the test, and drop-off after. Car rental only (no lesson) is $100–$110 and includes free pickup and drop-off. The vehicle used for lessons is the same vehicle available for the road test, meaning students are already familiar with its controls and handling.

Start In-Car Before Completing In-Class

Unlike many Regina driving schools, Faizan’s allows students to begin their in-car driving lessons before finishing the 6-hour in-class component. This provides greater scheduling flexibility and lets students start building practical skills sooner.

Online In-Class Sessions via Zoom — Weekends

The 6-hour in-class component of the SGI 6×6 course is delivered online through Zoom on weekends. This allows students in Regina and Moose Jaw — and across Saskatchewan — to complete the classroom requirement from home without disrupting their weekday schedule.

Instruction in Five Languages

Faizan’s Defensive Driving School offers driving instruction in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and Pashto, making quality driver education accessible to a wide range of Regina residents and newcomers to Saskatchewan.

Male and Female SGI-Certified Instructors

Both male and female SGI-certified instructors are available. Students who prefer a specific instructor type are encouraged to mention this when registering.

Defensive Driving for Saskatchewan Roads

The school’s defensive driving approach covers the full range of conditions Saskatchewan drivers face: city traffic, one-way and two-way streets, highway driving, gravel roads, angle and parallel parking, and winter driving. The goal is to build situational awareness and sound habits — not just the minimum required to pass a test.
