Care Canada is a small, review-driven school: strong ratings on the review sites we checked, one instructor named again and again, and very little published information beyond that. There’s no school website we could find and no published price list, so almost everything below comes from Manitoba Public Insurance’s permit list, business directories, and student reviews.

That doesn’t count against the school — plenty of good instructors run on word of mouth — but it does mean you should ask more questions before booking than you would at a school that publishes its rates. We’ve listed exactly what to ask.

⚠️ Pricing isn’t published anywhere we could find. Ask for the per-hour rate, package prices, and what a road test vehicle costs before you commit. For reference, Winnipeg schools we’ve researched that do publish prices list roughly $55–$65 per hour.

What Care Canada Actually Offers

In-Car Class 5 Lessons

One-on-one lessons for new and returning drivers, sold as different training packages.

Real Differentiator

A Parallel Parking Method

Reviewers single out a specific parallel parking technique they say they could complete in under a minute — a real pain point for road test candidates.

Beginner & Road Test Prep

A beginner’s package and road test preparation are both listed among its services.

What the Reviews Actually Show

  • One instructor, named consistently. Reviews credit Mohammad (also spelled Muhammad, and in one place Muhammad Azam) for patient, clear instruction and for keeping students motivated.
  • Very small lesson counts are reported. One student says three classes were enough for a first-attempt pass; another passed in snowy conditions after two hours of practice; another says a single lesson fixed their parallel parking.
  • Parallel parking comes up repeatedly. That matches the school’s own emphasis and is worth asking about if it’s your weak spot.
  • Some of this evidence is a few years old. At least one review we found dates to 2021, so it’s a picture of the school over time rather than a snapshot of this month.

Ratings are on the order of 4.9 to 5.0 across different aggregator pages, based on roughly a hundred ratings. Those figures vary slightly from site to site, and we couldn’t confirm which platform they come from, so treat them as a general signal of satisfaction, not a verified score.

Common Questions

How much does it cost?

No price list is published. Call and ask for the hourly rate, package pricing, and the cost of using their vehicle for your road test.

Will Mohammad teach me himself?

He’s the only instructor we found named in reviews, but we couldn’t confirm the school’s size. If you want him specifically, say so when you book.

What languages are lessons offered in?

One directory lists English. We didn’t find any statement about other languages, so ask if that matters to you.

Will I practise my exact road test route?

No school in Manitoba should promise that. MPI’s rules say driving instructors can’t teach the routes used in actual driving tests, so expect preparation for the skills and road types you’ll meet instead.

Is it MPI-permitted?

Yes — it appears in MPI’s official list of permitted Class 5 driving schools for Winnipeg. You can also ask to see the instructor’s valid permit, which Manitoba students are entitled to do.

Who This School Is For

Straight answer: Care Canada is worth a call if parallel parking is what’s worrying you, or if you want a short, focused set of lessons with an instructor students speak warmly about. The reported lesson counts are small and the ratings are strong.

The trade-off is information. With no published prices and no school website, you’ll be getting your key details over the phone, so write down the rate, the package contents, and the instructor’s name before you book.
