Learn to Drive with Confidence in Dartmouth
Learning to drive in the HRM can be a nerve-wracking experience. From the high-speed merges onto the
Portland Street bypass to the busy commercial routes around Mic Mac Mall,
you need an instructor who doesn’t just know the rules, but knows how to keep you calm under pressure.
Brave Driver Training was founded on the principle that driver education should be patient,
professional, and accessible.
With an Excellent rating on Google and over 240 glowing reviews, we have become one of
Dartmouth’s favorite boutique driving schools. We provide a digital-first approach that fits your modern
lifestyle, offering flexible online scheduling and high-quality video resources that supplement our
one-on-one in-car coaching.
Modern Instruction for Modern Roads
Our curriculum is fully Nova Scotia Approved and exceeds the provincial requirements. We
utilize the acclaimed OEA and SIPDE defensive driving systems to ensure our students aren’t
just reacting to traffic—they are anticipating it. Whether it’s mastering the roundabouts of Downtown
Dartmouth or navigating the bridges during a Maritime winter, our “Coach James” and the team ensure you are
ready for anything.
The Road Test Success Strategy
We don’t leave your road test success to chance. Our instructors are experts at identifying the recurring
challenges in the Access Nova Scotia Dartmouth routes. We provide mock tests under real
exam conditions and offer you the use of our safety-equipped training vehicle for your official test.
Convenience Across the HRM
We understand that your time is valuable. That’s why we offer professional pick-up and drop-off
services for all in-car lessons throughout Dartmouth, Halifax, Sackville, and Bedford. Plus, as
an approved school, our graduates are eligible to take their road test in just 9 months instead of 12 and
qualify for significant insurance discounts.
