BDE Course — Insurance Discount & Earlier G2 Test

ABC’s MTO-approved Beginner Driver Education course consists of 20 hours of classroom instruction, 10 hours of homework or online learning, and 10 hours of in-car training with a licensed driving instructor. Completing the course makes graduates eligible for a potential insurance discount and allows the G2 road test to be taken after 8 months of holding a G1, rather than the standard 12 months.

Free Pickup and Drop-Off in Burlington

All 10 hours of in-car training include free pickup and drop-off service, making it convenient for Burlington students without their own transport to get to and from lessons. Instructors are flexible and accommodating with scheduling to work around students’ school, work, and family commitments.

Mature Driver Program

ABC Driving School offers a dedicated program for mature drivers, which includes classroom seminars, courses, and road lessons. This program addresses the specific needs of drivers who want to refresh their skills, update their knowledge of current road rules, or build confidence after a period away from driving.

G2 and G Road Test Preparation

For drivers who already hold a G1 or G2 licence, ABC offers road test package lessons that combine refresher lessons with car rental for test day. Instructors are familiar with Burlington’s DriveTest Centre routes and the QEW and Highway 403 conditions required for the full G highway test.
